What is NJEMSEA?

The NJEMSEA is an association of emergency medical services instructors and educators dedicated to furthering EMS education in the Garden State.  Our membership includes:

  • EMT Program Coordinators and Instructors
  • EMS agency trainers
  • Paramedic Clinical Coordinators and Educators
  • Pre-EMS educators such as CPR and First Aid instructors
  • Resuscitation trainers such as ACLS and PALS instructors
  • Trainers of technical programs such as HazMat and ICS

Membership in the NJEMSEA requires proof of one of the above credentials, adherence to a code of ethics, and payment of yearly dues.  In return, members receive advocacy from the organization on issues that affect EMS instruction, access to the association's training materials and pre-approved programs, and access to association instructor development programs.

What's New Right Now at NJEMSEA?

NJEMSEA releases "NJEMSEA Emergency Incident Rehabiliation", a three hour program approved for 3 EMT Elective CEU credits  designed to educate providers in the basics of providing rehab for fire-fighters, HazMat technicians, and other emergency responders.
